JAPAN CORN STARCH CO.,LTD

Oligo Syrup M40

Overview

Characteristics

This syrup is primarily composed of maltose and maltotriose. It contains approximately 35 - 40% maltose and maltotriose, providing a strength of sweetness that is approximately 1/3 that of sugar.

It is used for adjustment of sweetness and physical properties (viscosity, moisture retention, and others).

It is a high-grade, low-sweetness syrup that highlights the flavor of the sugar.

It is used in a broad range of food products such as Japanese sweets, confectionaries, jams, and prepared foods.
